Mark Shattan, CFA
Chief Investment Officer
Mark Shattan is the founder and Chief Investment Officer at GrowthLine Capital. Mr. Shattan was formerly a portfolio manager at Jennison Associates where he managed a $3 billion growth portfolio and was a co-manager of the flagship $65 billion large cap growth strategy. Prior to Jennison, Mark was a chief investment officer at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, managing a $7 billion equity strategy and a team of 7 people. He has 24 years of professional investing experience and 19 years of experience as a growth portfolio manager, earning a four star Morningstar rating for the past 3, 5 and 10 years. Mark is a West Point Graduate and former U.S. Army Officer.
David Walker
Chief Operating Officer
David Walker is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of GrowthLine Capital and has 19 years of operational, financial, compliance and risk management experience as a COO, CFO and/or CCO of multi-billion dollar hedge funds including: Concordia Advisors, Scout Capital & Tower Capital. Previously, he was the CFO & CCO of Spruce House Investment Management, a $2.6 billion hedge fund. David graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and holds a Kellogg MBA. He is a US Army Veteran – Former U.S. Army Special Forces Commander (“Green Beret”), Ranger and Airborne.
Preetam Dutta, PhD
Senior Analyst
Dr. Dutta has 9 years of investing and risk modeling experience; 6 of those years as a Quantitative Researcher at Quadeye Securities. Prior to Quadeye, Preetam was a Trading and Research Analyst at Flintlock Capital Asset Management. Preetam is a blockchain and digital assets expert. He holds a BS in Mathematics & Economics from Yale College and a PhD in Computer Science (Machine Learning & Cyber Security) from Columbia University.
